PSX loses 487 points to reach 49521pts level


KARACHI – Bearish pattern saw at the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Monday as it lost 487.25 focuses to reach to 48520.20 focuses level at shutting.

The stocks watched the most noteworthy exchanging level of 49081.28 focuses and least level of 48489.74 focuses, with the volume of 251 million shares and estimation of Rs 11.6 billion. Upwards of 387 organizations participated in the exchanging; of which 65 progressed, 304 declined and 18 stayed unaltered.

Aisha Steel Mill was the volume pioneer with 24.97 million shares, shedding Rs 1.25 to complete at Rs 23.80. It was trailed by Lotte Chemical with 18.58 million shares, adding Rs 0.47 to end at Rs 10.51 and BoP with 15.04 million shares, losing Rs 0.64 to close at Rs 14.78.

Pak Tobacco with cost per share of 1235.71 (58.84), Khyber Tobacco with cost per share of 992.35 (47.25) and Ghandhara Ind share of 901.38 (42.92) were stayed best gainer.

The main three washouts were Wyeth Pak Ltd with cost per share of 3766.88 (- 198.25), Indus Motor Co with cost per share of 1596.55 (- 82.62) and Sanofi-Aventis per share of 2350 (- 54.11).
